Product Details
The R-6™ Residential Swing Gate Operator, features the V-Flex control board with on-board diagnostics LCD display and new chassis design providing easy viewing of the controls. The R-6™ is also equipped with a built in heater; an on board temperature management system and allows for an increased gate capacity of up to 700 Lbs
, making it a great option for heavy ornamental gates. Viking™s integrated true battery backup system, convenient fuse access and LED status indicators for incoming high voltage making this the operator of choice for a home owners swing gate application. The R-6™ Swing Gate Operator has a 5 Year limited Manufacturer Warranty.
IMPORTANT: SECONDARY PROTECTION MUST BE INSTALLED
REQUIRED BY UL 325, an approved MONITORED secondary entrapment protection sensor is REQUIRED to be installed in all areas accessible to potential entrapment and pinch points. At least ONE monitored "10K Resistor Based" sensor MUST be connected or OPERATOR WILL NOT RUN.
The following devices comply with UL 325 and have been tested for use with Viking Access Systems gate operators:
- Photoelectric Beam (non-contact sensor) - MILLER EDGE 10K Resistor based
- Edge Sensor (contact sensor) - MILLER EDGE 10K Resistor based model ME110-T2, ME120-T2, MGR20-T2, MGS20-T2
