All Freight Shipments go by common carrier and will arrive in a 32' to 40' tractor trailer. The delivery location must be suitable for the truck and personnel must be on site to help with the unloading of the shipment, only one person will arrive with the truck. The gate is the largest piece and can weigh up to 320 lbs depending on size. Residential delivery's require a lift gate and an appointment so they will be more expensive than a commercial location with a forklift. Gate Depot will contact you after placing your order with the shipping costs to get your approval before charging you. Typical costs for shipping are $350-$500 for a driveway gate. If ordering multiple units the costs do not typically go up at the same rate; shipping 2 gates is not double the cost of shipping 1 gate
