Integrated Card Readers / Keypads / Intercoms
Integrated Card Readers / Keypads / Intercoms are used to control access in conjunction with a door controller in either Wiegand or RS-485 formats. These access control devices cannot be used on their own, but must be part of a networked system. Card readers are available in a wide variety of formats including HID, AWID, Secura Key, DK Prox, DK ProxPlus Secure, IDTeck, AeGIS, DK ProxPlus, and MiFare. Keypads and card readers can be flush, mounted, surface mounted, or mounted in a single gang electric box. There are also combination units that combine an integrated card reader or keypad with a built in intercom door station.
