Magnetic Locks
Magnetic Locks can be used in a Wide Array of Applications from interior doors, to pedestrian gates, to sliding gates, and overhead doors. We carry many sizes and brands including Doorking, Locinox, Liftmaster, FAAC, Platinum Access Systems, Security Brands, Eagle, MMTC, Ramset, and Securitron. Holding forces start at 300 lbs and go as high as 2000 lbs per magnetic lock with the ability to wire multiple locks in series to increase the holding force. Magnetic locks are powered by a DC power supply and you can add a boxed power supply with battery to maintain power in the event of power failure. Maglocks can be controlled by any dry contact relay by wiring it in series with the power supply. This allows you to activate or deactivate the lock from a keypad, remote control, intercom, telephone entry, card reader, keyswitch, toggle switches and pushbuttons or you can wire them back to a gate operator so that they are automatically locked and unlocked with the cycling of the gate.
