The new E-4™ Residential Swing Gate Operator leads the industry in being the best, most cost effective residential linear arm actuator. This new design allows for a maximum gate capacity of 850 Lbs
/10' or 550 Lbs
/16'. Featuring a convenient manual release handle and pre-wiring for an easy and quick installation. It is ready to be powered with low voltage wiring, allowing installation versatility and accuracy. The E-4™ offers a 3 year limited Manufacturer Warranty and UL compliance.
IMPORTANT: SECONDARY PROTECTION MUST BE INSTALLED
REQUIRED BY UL 325, an approved MONITORED secondary entrapment protection sensor is REQUIRED to be installed in all areas accessible to potential entrapment and pinch points. At least ONE monitored "10K Resistor Based" sensor MUST be connected or OPERATOR WILL NOT RUN.
The following devices comply with UL 325 and have been tested for use with Viking Access Systems gate operators:
- Photoelectric Beam (non-contact sensor) - MILLER EDGE 10K Resistor based
- Edge Sensor (contact sensor) - MILLER EDGE 10K Resistor based model ME110-T2, ME120-T2, MGR20-T2, MGS20-T2
- E-4 Control Board – 1 board is designed to control a single or dual gate, no other boards needed
- Direct solar input with dedicated port for solar panel
- Low power consumption board with automatic sleep mode
- Efficient battery charger
- Battery Backup Included
- 2 batteries included in case of power outage
- Up to 400 cycles on battery back up
- Advanced lightning strike protection up to 20,000 volts / 10,000 amps
- On-board surge protection
- UV powder coating on aluminum alloy chassis provides additional layer of protection against corrosion and weather elements
