    Product Details

    Once again Viking Access Systems raises the bar and sets a new standard in solar operation. Introducing the newly design G-5s. Viking's state of the art Solar Technology has achieved the ONLY UL certification for number of daily solar cycles in the world. The G-5s is the ONLY solar gate operator providing up to 200 cycles per day on a single 10 Watts solar panel. Therefore Viking Access Systems is the ONLY choice for high efficiency, high performance solar gate operator.

    IMPORTANT: SECONDARY PROTECTION MUST BE INSTALLED

    REQUIRED BY UL 325, an approved MONITORED secondary entrapment protection sensor is REQUIRED to be installed in all areas accessible to potential entrapment and pinch points. At least ONE monitored "10K Resistor Based" sensor MUST be connected or OPERATOR WILL NOT RUN.

    The following devices comply with UL 325 and have been tested for use with Viking Access Systems gate operators:

    • Photoelectric Beam (non-contact sensor) - MILLER EDGE 10K Resistor based
    • Edge Sensor (contact sensor) - MILLER EDGE 10K Resistor based model ME110-T2, ME120-T2, MGR20-T2, MGS20-T2
