Swing Arm Operators

Swing Arm Operators are an Excellent Choice for any install where durability and speed are important. This style of operator can open a large swinging gate in 12-15 seconds depending on length and weight and will usually come with a 5 to 10 year warranty. We carry models from Platinum Access Systems, Linear, Ramset, Doorking, All-O-Matic, Eagle, Liftmaster, Viking Access, Nice HySecurity, FAAC, and Nice Apollo. The newer models will typically use a 24VDC motor with a set of batteries to provide backup power in case of power outage. Older style units run using a 110VAC Motor with a capacitor and have very limited battery backup options. Most models require a concrete pad to be poured that is approximately 2'x2'x2' and finishing 4-6" above grade. The exception to that rule would be a bottom mounted swing arm operator like the DoorKing 6100. These units have the option to be mounted to a set of posts and the output shaft for the swing arm comes from the bottom of the operator to allow a more aesthetically pleasing installation.
