D&D SureClose® Self-Closing Hinges - Center Mount

Hydraulic SureClose® Gate Closers & Hinges are designed to replace conventional, bulky commercial gate hinges and closers. These strong and sturdy hinge-closers provide smooth, bind-free performance. The SureClose® SM hinge was designed for large industrial-style gates, such as found on commercial and heavy residential gates, plus estate gates and gates around factories, schools, access control areas and driveways that don't require self-closure. The SM model features extra-large hinge pins and dual thrust bearings designed for high loads. Save money when SM is used as the bottom, load-bearing hinge along with a SureClose® 57 or SureClose® 108 closer.

SureClose 108 and 57 models are concealed hydraulic gate closers. The models feature Final Snap-Close Action (FSA) which increases speed at the end of closing to overcome electric or coded locks. Both 'Closing Speed' and 'Final Snap' are adjustable using the supplied adjustment tool. Designed to never leak hydraulic fluid, the SureClose 108 or 57 are extremely safe and do not offer resistance if closed quickly in an emergency. Soft, quiet closure also protects the latching/locking system. All SureClose hinges and closers come packaged with the gate mounting bracket included. Post mounting brackets sold separately. Aluminium gate mounting brackets: Pre-drill using 5mm drill bit and use #14 countersunk through-bolts or fasteners. See post brackets for their fastener requirements.

CAUTION: You must install a gate stop with this product! All SureClose® RF models require an added gate stop to prevent the gate from being forced past 90°, causing permanent damage to the self-closing mechanism. SureClose products do not contain an external gate stop. Failure to use a gate stop will void your warranty
