Commercial Telephone Entry & Access Control Systems

Commercial Telephone Entry & Access Control Systems are the best choice for large properties with a common entrance that needs to be able to communicate remotely with multiple locations or tenants such as gated communities, apartment buildings, office buildings, storage facilities, and industrial complexes. These devices use phone service and/or an internet connection to dial a phone number and request access using voice communication and approve access by trigerring one or more output relays with the press of a button on the phone.

Some models are PC Programmable and/or IP Addressable and include software for programming and monitoring the system remotely. Often they will be expandable to include additional keypads, card readers, or radio receivers for more complex access control situations. Many of the models will feature LCD displays of varying sizes to use as a built in electronics directory. On simpler designs you can use a built in paper directory or external add on directories for larger installations.

The most important features to consider are whether the unit is flush mount or surface mount, the number of tenants, the number of access codes, how many output relays can be activated, and whether or not the unit is PC/Web Programmable. We carry products from AeGIS, DoorKing, Security Brands (formerly AAS), LiftMaster, GarageSmart, and Linear. If you need help picking out a product please give us a call at (888) 818-4283.
